Robert Waldeck |

|
Robert Waldeck is a Kitchener-based documentary filmmaker, visual artist and arts educator. In addition to degrees from the University of Western Ontario and McMaster University, he holds a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Waterloo. In 2004, Robert linked up with Paul Eichhorn to form W.E. Productions. He’s currently involved in pre-production on W.E. Productions documentary about Canadian artist Carl Beam. As a filmmaker, he received the award for Best Experimental Film at the Columbus Film/Video Consortium Short Film Festival in Columbus, Ohio. |

His experimental short Death in Details was screened at the Not Still Art Film Festival Brooklyn, New York as well as at the Elora Centre for the Arts, Elora, Ontario. CTV Southwestern Ontario Script Development Fund and the Region of Waterloo Arts Fund As a visual artist, he has exhibited his works at galleries throughout Canada and the United States. In addition to his art experience, he has taught at Wilfrid Laurier University, University of Waterloo, Centennial College and Toronto School of Art. |

Paul Eichhorn |

Paul Eichhorn is Director of 5C Creative in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, has over two decades of experience in film, video and multi-media. He holds a degree in Film Studies and Journalism from Carleton University. In 2004, he linked up with Robert Waldeck in 2004 to form W.E. Productions. He’s currently involved in pre-production on W.E. Productions documentary about Canadian artist Carl Beam. In 2005, Paul directed a short about the history of moving images entitled, Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow. |

Paul was one of the executive advisors of The Grand Exposeition .05, a Kitchener-Waterloo event in 2005 that focused on technology and image making. He’s also developed video and on-line presentations for organizations through 5C. From 1999 to 2001, he was the Associate Director and Film and Video Programmer at the V. MacDonnell Gallery in Toronto. He also created several independent videos through his firm Take One Video Productions between 1987 to 1992. Paul has written about film and video for numerous publications including Take One: Film and TV in Canada, The Toronto Star, LOLA and Late Harvest Journal. Paul was also a contributing reviewer to Take One’s Essential Guide to Canadian Film. Paul is also a member of the Documentary Organization of Canada .
